On Wednesday the 21st of October,There ended up being no clients in for every therapist in our work experience client session so to use my time productively,i went and updated my C.V document to enable me to hand in to spas around my local area in the try to get a placement,work experience opportunity so that I am able to gain more experience before I get a fixed job in a spa environment.

On Wednesday 14th October in my work experience session,I had a client in for an for an Eve Taylor Facial. At the end of the treatment I managed to retail £40.00 worth of Eve Taylor Products,a Bamboo and soya Exfoliater 100ml,The Stimulating body oil 100ml,The soothing facial mask 50ml and lastly a delicate facial serum 50ml.I found telling a product very easy and very awarding,I asked my client what her daily facial routine was and on the results I had from my client she didn't use many products and so i recommended some products suited to my clients skin tone witch then anabled me to tell all the products to my client.

In my work experience session at college we are now offering a course of treatments,It will include a package of five Micro-Current facials every Wednesday at 12.30 till 3.00. The course of treatments will Cost £45.00. Or for one treatment we are Pricing it for £10. 
I have learnt that when I am doing a Eve Taylor Facial I will need to make sure that I make my clients aware of all the add on treatments that are on offer,The eve Taylor Facial cost £11.00 without any add on treatments. We Have two add on's,It's £4.00 Extra for a Specialised Eve Taylor mask. And and extra £3.00 for an eye and lip add on. To persuade and sell these add on's to my clients I will need to tell them about them all. I believe by making them aware of these add on treatments it will interest them to want them and it will help to bring more money into the salon earnings. I believe that this is very important because it will help to sell the eve Taylor facials much better and it will help to boost the earnings in the salon.

On Friday 25th September me and my classmates in my level 3 beauty group put on a macmillan coffee morning. some people in the group went down to the heart space in college and they all did a charity leg wax on all the public services people. Then me and the rest of  my group stayed in the commercial salon and we all carried out lots of different treatments such as the Eve Taylor facial,Manicure,Pedicures and waxing all to raise money for cancer macmillan. The therapists that did not have any clients,they went through to the Hair salon and offered an arm massage,file and polish for £2 all in aid.

We also offered all the clients Tea,coffee and cake and we asked for £1 for each.
As an commercial Enterprise we earn't over £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer.
